Auguste arrived at the shelter following an investigation involving a large number of cats living in the same environment. Very fearful, he is still not comfortable around humans and does not yet accept direct physical contact. His past likely prevented him from experiencing the trusting bond that a cat can develop with a family. Auguste will need a calm, patient home that respects his pace. His future adopters will need to give him the time he needs to adjust to his new surroundings, without rushing things. With gentleness, understanding, and plenty of patience, Auguste will gradually learn to trust and find his place within a loving family.

Auguste est arrivé au refuge suite à une enquête impliquant un grand nombre de chats vivant dans le même environnement. Très craintif, il est encore peu à l’aise avec l’humain et n’accepte pas, pour le moment, le contact direct. Son passé ne lui a probablement pas permis de découvrir la relation de confiance qu’un chat peut construire avec une famille. Auguste aura besoin d’un foyer calme, patient et respectueux de son rythme. Ses futurs adoptants devront lui laisser le temps nécessaire pour s’adapter à son nouvel environnement, sans chercher à brûler les étapes. Avec de la douceur, de la compréhension et beaucoup de patience, Auguste pourra progressivement apprendre à faire confiance et trouver sa place au sein d’une famille aimante.
