For adoption of a dog, a driver's license and leash are required. For adoption of a cat, a driver's license and carrier are required. All dogs and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, and protected against infectious diseases. Dogs are also vaccinated against rabies. Adult animals can be adopted to a new home after the spaying/neutering procedure. Puppies/kittens leave the animal shelter without the procedure, but have a free spaying/neutering procedure guaranteed at the appropriate age. The age of the dog/cat is determined based on the condition of the teeth and overall appearance, so it should be considered an approximate value.
