B80

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 8 months

B80 is a feral cat who ended up at the shelter because he needed help. Years spent on the streets have made him unfamiliar with humans and unable to trust them. He’s an unneutered cat, extremely cautious and reserved. Every new situation is a source of stress for him. He arrived at the shelter sick and in need of medical treatment. Although his body is slowly recovering, he still has a long road ahead. B80 doesn’t seek contact with people and won’t be a cat who immediately jumps onto your lap. Above all, he needs peace, patience, and a place where he can feel safe. We’re looking for a responsible guardian who will understand the needs of a feral cat and won’t expect immediate trust. He may never become a typical cuddly house cat, but he deserves a life free from pain, illness, and the daily struggle for survival. Every cat, even the most distrustful one, deserves a chance. We hope that someone will come along for B80 and give him a calm and secure home. Date of birth: ~07.2018 Please note that you can adopt any animal virtually. For more information about virtual adoption, please contact us by email (or via our Facebook page). You can find more details about the animal by contacting the Shelter’s office at the following number. To adopt a dog, you’ll need an ID card, a leash, and a collar. To adopt a cat, you’ll need an ID card and a carrier. All dogs and cats are microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated against infectious diseases. Dogs are also vaccinated against rabies. Adult animals can go to their new homes after undergoing spaying or neutering. Puppies and kittens leave the shelter without these procedures, but they’re guaranteed free spaying or neutering when they reach the appropriate age. The age of a dog or cat is determined based on its dental condition and overall appearance, so it should be considered an approximate value. Do schroniska trafił schorowany i wymagający leczenia. About B80

What life with B80 looks like

B80 is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting B80, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about B80?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw B80 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt B80 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is B80 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if B80 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know B80 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
