B84

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 1 month

B84 is a free-roaming cat whose life has not been kind to her. She ended up at the shelter because she needed help and is currently undergoing treatment. Although she’s not a domesticated cat and still feels uneasy around people, each day brings her a new chance to regain her health. B84 doesn’t seek human contact. She feels most comfortable when she can observe her surroundings from a safe distance. She needs peace, patience, and a place where no one puts any pressure on her. She’s a cat who’s had to fend for herself her entire life, so trust doesn’t come easily to her. We’re looking for a responsible guardian or a safe environment where she can live peacefully and securely once her treatment is complete. We don’t expect her to become a typical lap cat—we just want her to no longer have to struggle with illness, hunger, and everyday dangers. Every cat deserves a chance, even those who haven’t yet learned to trust humans. We hope that B84 will find her safe place in the world. Date of birth: ~02.2025 Please note that every animal can be adopted virtually. For more information on virtual adoption, please contact us via email (or through our Facebook profile). You can find more details about the animal by contacting the Shelter’s office at [phone number]. To adopt a dog, you’ll need an ID card, a leash, and a collar. To adopt a cat, you’ll need an ID card and a carrier. All dogs and cats are microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated against infectious diseases. Dogs also receive rabies vaccinations. Adult animals can go to their new homes after undergoing spaying or neutering. Puppies and kittens leave the shelter without these procedures, but they’re guaranteed free spaying or neutering at the appropriate age. The age of the dog or cat is determined based on dental condition and overall appearance, so it should be considered an approximate estimate. About B84

What life with B84 looks like

B84 is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting B84, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about B84?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw B84 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt B84 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is B84 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if B84 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know B84 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
