Bagheera

Male · Baby · 6 months

About me: Bagheera is a floofy little fella who loves his food. He is still learning to trust, but has a sweet nature. His teeth will need regular checks, and his luscious locks will need regular brushing. Ideal home: Bagheera is looking for a home with a female rabbit to bond with. He can live either indoors or outdoors, although an indoor home would be preferred as he is prone to developing mats in his fur.

About Bagheera

What life with Bagheera looks like

Bagheera is a young rabbit waiting at St Francis Animal Welfare in United Kingdom.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bagheera, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bagheera?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. St Francis Animal Welfare handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bagheera on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bagheera if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a rabbit can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask St Francis Animal Welfare what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Bagheera already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a rabbit comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask St Francis Animal Welfare directly what is included and what Bagheera still needs.
What happens if Bagheera isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with St Francis Animal Welfare early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bagheera and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
