Her story: Four teenie kittens on the lookout for their very own happiness – Balalaika and her siblings Asula, Caspar & Rocky are looking forward to the start of their new lives! Born on the streets of Romania, the odds for the four kittens were not good at first, but thanks to a loving animal rescuer who noticed their mother and them, the situation changed. The mother of the kitten litter is very, very shy, but thankfully, the kids don't show the same trait, and so the animal rescuer was able to catch them and take them in to give them the chance at a safe and beautiful life. The mother was also caught, neutered, and then released back into her territory, as she feels comfortable there and she will continue to be fed and checked on to ensure she is doing well despite everything. Balalaika, the black beauty, is, in our opinion, a true dream kitten. She is super social with her fellow animals and always seeks out the coziest spot, whether on the lap of the person she loves or a cozy dog bed. Since she has always lived with her siblings, of course, it would be a dream to let her travel with one of her siblings. However, she can also be adopted into a home where one or more fellow animals are already waiting for her. We unfortunately do not know how she gets along with dogs. Our sweet girl has quickly and well adapted to life in the apartment, which is why she will also be very happy in the future with the right cat-friendly setup for apartment living. If there is also a cat-safe balcony where she can catch some fresh air, she will be even more delighted – but that is not a must. In a very rural environment, she could also be accustomed to being let out after an appropriate adjustment period. Balalaika is of course already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. She has already tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and her EU pet passport is also packed and ready. This cat needs outdoor access.

Ihre Geschichte: Vier Teenie-Kätzchen auf der Suche nach ihrem ganz persönlichen Glück – Balalaika und ihre Geschwister Asula, Caspar & Rocky freuen sich auf den Start in ihr neues Leben! Geboren auf den Straßen Rumäniens standen die Chancen der vier Kätzchen erst einmal nicht so gut, doch da eine liebe Tierschützerin vor Ort auf ihr Mama und sie aufmerksam gemacht wurde, wendete sich das Blatt. Die Mama der Katzenkinder ist sehr sehr scheu, was sich die Kids Gottseidank nicht abschauten, und so gelang es der Tierschützerin, sie einzufangen und mitzunehmen, um ihnen die Möglichkeit auf ein sicheres und schönes Leben zu geben. Auch die Mama wurde eingefangen, kastriert und dann in ihrem Gebiet wieder frei gelassen, denn dort fühlt sie sich wohl und sie wird weiterhin gefüttert und es wird immer wieder nach ihr geschaut, um sicherzustellen, dass es ihr trotz allem gut geht. Balalaika die schwarze Schönheit ist, wenn man uns fragt, ein echtes Traumkätzchen. Sie ist super sozial mit ihren Artgenossen und sucht sich immer das kuschligste Plätzchen, egal ob auf dem Schoß des Menschen, den sie liebt oder ein kuscheliges Körbchen. Da sie immer zusammen mit ihren Geschwistern gelebt hat, wäre es natürlich ein Traum sie zusammen mit einem Geschwisterchen ausreisen zu lassen. Sie kann jedoch auch in ein Zuhause ziehen, wo bereits ein oder mehrere Artgenossen auf sie warten. Ob und wie sie sich mit Hunden versteht wissen wir leider nicht. Unser süßes Mädchen hat sich an das Leben in der Wohnung schnell und gut gewohnt, weshalb sie auch in Zukunft mit der richtigen katzengerechten Einrichtung in Wohnungshaltung sehr glücklich sein wird. Gibt es dann auch noch einen katzensicheren Balkon, auf dem sie auch mal etwas frische Luft schnuppern kann, freut sie sich um so mehr – das ist jedoch kein Muss. In einer sehr ländlichen Umgebung könnte sie nach einer angemessenen Eingewöhnung aber auch an Freigang gewöhnt werden. Balalaika ist natürlich auch schon kastriert, gechippt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Auf FIV und FeLV wurde sie bereits negativ getestet und ihr EU-Heimtierausweis ist ebenfalls im gepackten Köfferchen. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 250 Euro kann sie in ihr neues Zuhause ziehen. Vielen Dank an Michaela, dass du mit deiner Namenspatenschaft zu Balalaikas
