male dog Balou came to us as a surrender animal on 25.04.2026. Born around April 2023, the herd protection dog is now seeking a new home. From his previous home, he knows dogs and cats, but there was disharmony with the older dog. We would therefore like a home where he can be the sole prince. Balou is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped—he goes well on the leash and enjoys his walks with our volunteers. It would be advantageous if potential adopters have experience with the typical characteristics of a herd protection dog or are willing to familiarize themselves with them. Rüde Balou kam bereits als Welpe zu uns und war längere Zeit vermittelt. Am 25.04.2026 kam er als Abgabetier wieder zu uns. Der ca. April 2023 geborene Herdenschutzhund sucht nun eine neue Wirkungsstätte. Aus seinem alten Zuhause kennt er Hunde und Katzen, allerdings kam es zur Disharmonie mit dem älteren Hund. Er hat zudem eine Thematik mit Ressourcenverteidigung, weshalb im Alltag ein bewusster und verantwortungsvoller Umgang wichtig ist. Wir wünschen uns deshalb ein Zuhause, in dem er der alleinige Prinz sein darf. Balou ist kastriert, geimpft und gechipt. Er geht gut an der Leine und genießt die Gassigänge mit unseren Ehrenamtlichen. Von Vorteil wäre es, wenn Interessenten Erfahrungen mit den typischen Eigenschaften eines Herdenschutzhundes mitbringen, seine Körpersprache verstehen bzw. bereit sind, sich damit auseinanderzusetzen. Der Umgang mit Balou sollte klar und strukturiert verlaufen.
