Über seine Vorgeschichte ist uns nichts bekannt, er ist 2025 geboren. Von der ersten Sekunde an war vor allem eines klar: Er ist ein leidenschaftlicher Schmuser. Streicheln und Kuscheln sind einfach seine Lieblingsbeschäftigungen. Balou streicht gerne um die Beine und mag nachts mit im Bett schlafen. Er kommt mit Artgenossen und Hunden gut zurecht. Da er sich viel Zeit und Aufmerksamkeit wünscht, wird er als Zweitkatze oder bei viel Zeit in Einzelhaltung vermittelt. Der rote Bursche hat Augenprobleme und dadurch ein eingeschränktes Sichtfeld. Deshalb soll er in ein Zuhause mit katzensicherem (ausbruchssicherem) Garten ziehen. Kleinere Kinder sind nicht geeignet, da er durch seine Sehbeeinträchtigung und eine minimale Entwicklungsstörung manchmal recht grobmotorisch ist und seine Krallen nicht optimal im Griff hat.
