male dog, born around 2017/2016, about 60 cm, vaccinated, microchipped, pre-travel Babesiosis, Borreliosis, Ehrlichiosis, Anaplasmosis, Dirofilaria, and Leishmaniasis tests. About Baltasar – gentle giant seeks peaceful spot. Baltasar was found on the streets in Romania – he seemed somewhat helpless and disoriented. He was likely abandoned. Compassionate people informed our animal rescuer and asked her to take him into the shelter. Of course, he received a dry “bed” of straw and good food there. Baltasar is rather thin and needs to be fattened up. And after an urgently needed grooming, he will soon be in better condition and show what a handsome fellow he is. However, Baltasar’s teeth, as expected for his age and due to a difficult past, are broken or completely missing. Baltasar walks excellently on the leash and almost stays by the side. It's as if he doesn’t want to lose his (new) human. He gets along well with other dogs, is very calm and friendly towards people. Baltasar gives an impression of being relaxed and unpretentious – a warm spot, good food, and occasional affectionate attention would likely suffice for this gentle giant. We are looking for a quiet home with a house and garden for dear Baltasar. Baltasar is still in Romania. Some symptoms here are age-related.

Rüde, geb. ca. 2017/2016, ca. 60 cm, geimpft, gechipt, vor Ausreise Test auf Babesiose, Borreliose, Ehrlichiose, Anaplasmose, Dirofilarien und Leishmaniose Über Baltasar – gemütlicher Riese sucht ruhiges PlätzchenBaltasar wurde in Rumänien auf der Straße gefunden – er machte einen etwas hilf- und orientierungslosen Eindruck. Vermutlich wurde er verlassen. Mitleidige Menschen informierten unsere Tierretterin und baten sie, ihn im Shelter aufzunehmen. Natürlich bekam er dort ein trockenes „Bettchen“ aus Stroh und gutes Futter. Baltasar ist nämlich recht mager und muss noch aufgepäppelt werden. Und nach einer dringend notwendigen Schur wird er bald wieder in besserer Verfassung sein und zeigen, was für ein Prachtkerl er ist. Baltasars Zähne sind allerdings wie zu vermuten altersbedingt und sicher einem schlechten Vorleben geschuldet abgebrochen oder fehlen vollständig. Baltasar geht vorbildlich an der Leine und läuft schon fast bei Fuß. So, als ob er seinen (neuen) Menschen nicht verlieren will. Er verträgt sich gut mit anderen Hunden, ist sehr ruhig und freundlich zu Menschen. Baltasar macht einen entspannten und anspruchslosen Eindruck – ein warmes Plätzchen, gutes Futter und hin und wieder liebevolle Ansprache würden dem lieben Riesen vermutlich schon genügen.
