Adopt Baron & Magnus

Male · Baby

Breed: Rabbit Color: Brown & Gray-Black Age: approx. January 2026 Gender: male neutered: yes Reason for surrender: overburdened Personality: Hello dear bipeds! We are Baron and Magnus, still very young, but already full of mature nonsense in our heads. We come as a double, which is non-negotiable. Since the neutering, we understand each other perfectly, and everything is better together: eating, playing with sticks, and of course making silly faces. Of course, we can then sit innocently in the corner as if we had never done anything wrong. We are fit, active, and full of energy for our age. Since we didn't have an optimal start in life, we now wish for a large and appropriately equipped home where we can live a wonderful rabbit life forever. We generally find humans completely okay. However, when we encounter unfamiliar noises, we may react fearfully and quickly seek safety. Also, when being handled, we can be quite stubborn and wriggly – that's why it would be great if our new bipeds already have some rabbit experience. We wish for loving people who understand that although we are small, we are still big personalities and have high expectations for our new home, isn't that right? 🙂 If you can offer all of this, then get in touch – we are already packing our "imaginary suitcases" in the meantime. Sincerely, your future roommates, Baron & Magnus Rabbits need running space and hiding spots. A large running space with good, varied structure must be available to them. Dwarf rabbits must be held in pairs and are not cuddly toys for children. If you are interested in the duo, please fill out the application form. We will then contact you. Visits and pickup times are only possible upon our invitation. Best regards, Baron & Magnus our shelter Shelter Address: Berner Tierzentrum Wohlenstrasse 55 3032 Hinterkappelen Monday to Friday, 10 am to 12 pm. This animal can be anxious in unfamiliar situations.

Rasse: Kaninchen Farbe: Braun & Grau-Schwarz Alter: ca. Januar 2026 Geschlecht: männlich Kastriert: ja Verzichtgrund: überfordert Eigenschaften: Hallo liebe Zweibeiner! About Baron & Magnus

What life with Baron & Magnus looks like

Baron & Magnus is a small puppy/kitten rabbit waiting at Berner Tierzentrum in Switzerland.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Baron & Magnus, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Baron & Magnus?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Berner Tierzentrum handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Baron & Magnus on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Baron & Magnus if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Berner Tierzentrum will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Baron & Magnus already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most rabbits on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Baron & Magnus isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Berner Tierzentrum early rather than rehoming privately; they know Baron & Magnus and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
