Barri was collected dehydrated, disoriented and with the body full of perdigons. Some impacts were very recent. Someone decided to do this to a cat. A helpless being. Every day we receive warnings of hit-and-run gatxs, poisoned or with terrible wounds. Lxs gatxs are big lxs forgotten: most look the other way and very few people decide to stop and help. Without the involvement of people, we can do nothing. Despite the beginning of his history, Barri survived. Not lucky, but because someone did decide to hold his hand. And yet, he has no fear or grudge. Today he's a pitiful, sweet cat, looking for caresses like they never hurt him. Barri doesn't need compassion. He needs what he must have always had: a definitive family. A home where I never have to survive again. ♪
