Basalt, the philosopher of heights If you're looking for Basalt, don't bother checking the ground. He prefers to stay up high. Perched on a cat tree or in a high spot, he observes the shelter as if watching a movie. Nothing escapes him. Basalt is a more reserved cat than his companions. Noises, footsteps down the hallway or movements that are a bit too fast still impress him. So, he chooses caution and takes time to analyze each situation before feeling confident enough. But there's one thing that always makes him come down from his perch: mealtime! His love of food often overcomes his shyness, and it's also a good way to start building a bond with him. Basalt will need a calm home where he can evolve without pressure. He may not be the first to say hello, but he is one of those cats who observes for a long time before deciding they can finally let their guard down. With a little patience, his perch may no longer be his only favorite spot.

Basalt, le philosophe des hauteurs Si vous cherchez Basalt, inutile de regarder au sol. Lui préfère les hauteurs. Perché sur un arbre à chat ou un coin en hauteur, il observe le refuge comme s’il regardait un film. Rien ne lui échappe. Basalt est un chat plus réservé que ses compagnons. Les bruits, les pas dans le couloir ou les mouvements un peu trop rapides l’impressionnent encore. Alors, il choisit la prudence et prend le temps d’analyser chaque situation avant de se sentir suffisamment en confiance. Mais il y a une chose qui le fait toujours descendre de son perchoir : le repas ! La gourmandise l’emporte souvent sur la timidité, et c’est d’ailleurs un bon moyen de commencer à créer un lien avec lui. Basalt aura besoin d’un foyer calme où il pourra évoluer sans pression. Il n’est pas le premier à venir dire bonjour, mais il fait partie de ces chats qui observent longtemps avant de décider qu’ils peuvent enfin baisser la garde. Avec un peu de patience, son perchoir ne sera peut-être plus son seul endroit préféré.
