Baxter ✨ is a 10 out of 10 dog. Seriously. ✨ Yes, he is a large and positive dog with leishmaniosis. Maybe some of you will stop reading here. But if you continue, you will meet an extraordinary dog. Baxter is friendly, obedient, respectful and very affectionate. At the animal shelter he patiently waits in his cage for someone to come and caress him. When you look at him, his body melts: his tail starts moving with a joy that doesn't fit inside him. At home he behaves wonderfully. He knows how to be alone calmly, sleeps peacefully in his bed and adapts very quickly to the routine. He is a balanced and easy-to-live-with dog. During walks he might pull a bit at first or when he sees someone he wants to greet, but after a while he relaxes and walks calmly and attentively. What he clearly wants is to be the favorite of the house. He doesn't like sharing the home with other dogs: he can have friends outside, but his home is his home. However, he can perfectly coexist with children and we believe he can also live with cats. And leishmaniosis? It is completely controlled. He only needs one pill a day, with a very economical treatment. Baxter doesn't seek pity. He seeks a family that looks at him as he looks at the world: with excitement.
