She suffers from hypothyroidism, a condition that causes developmental and growth delays, resulting in dwarfism and small malformations in her paws. To treat the hypothyroidism, Bechamel will need medication throughout her life (currently 0.02ml of a syrup), as well as more frequent check-ups and blood tests. She also needs a slightly more specific diet, as her digestion is slower, causing intestinal discomfort. It should be noted that due to her condition, she may be more prone to certain illnesses and diseases, and will require more specialized care. Therefore, it is advisable that the family who wants to give her a home has experience with other animals and cases of this or other types that require regular veterinary care. Regardless of how peculiar she is, Bechamel is a very active kitten who has overcome many barriers and is currently living a completely normal life. She is very playful and adventurous, as well as affectionate and sweet. She is very intelligent and adapts very well to changes.
