Description: Hi my name is Becky, my safehouse mum calls me Princess Becky though and I like it ? I am a double yellow headed Amazon. I do enjoy being around humans but I don’t always want them to touch me, I will back away if I don’t want to be touched. When I step up, I use my beak to balance and make sure what I’m stepping onto is steady enough. I also have mood swings but hey I’m a woman after all. I have been known to bite but as long as you read my body language correctly then I won’t hurt you. I eat most fruit and vegetables that have been mixed with zupreem pellets or lean and fit seeds. I’m not scared to have dogs around as long as I’m safe in my cage, I also quite like the company of other birds. I don’t mind men or women but I’m not too sure about kids, although I like high energy, kids just make me go back in my cage. I’m getting used to being covered at night but please let me know what you’re doing and when you’re doing it as I will lunge if startled, it’s my only defense after all. I make a few noises and shout “what’s wrong wi ya” and I will tell you to “go away” or “away away” I love to spend time sat on top of my cage next to a window and if it rains I love the sound of that so my safehouse mummy opens the window and pushes my cage right up to it.
