Adopt Bee available

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Young · 1 year

Hello... I’m Bee..I’ve been a very busy girl lately. When I arrived at the centre, I was carrying a little secret... five tiny kittens! I looked after them, loved them, and made sure they were ready for the world, and now they’ve all flown off to their forever homes.So... now it’s my turn.I’m almost two years old, and I’ve got so much love left to give. I’m a very sweet, affectionate girl who adores attention. If you’re nearby, I’ll find you, and once I do, you can expect plenty of head bumps, nose nudges, and requests for fuss (I’m quite persistent in the nicest possible way).I also have a very important hobby: food. I love it. A lot. Mealtimes are one of my favourite parts of the day, and I’ll make sure you don’t forget them! When I’m not eating or getting cuddles, you’ll usually find me watching the world go by from a window or stretched out in a warm patch of sunshine. I’m a curious, nosey little explorer too, I like to know what’s going on and be part of it.I could live with another relaxed cat, and I might be okay with a calm, cat-savvy dog. I could also share my home with children, as long as they understand I sometimes like a little space between all the love.Mostly though, I just want to be near my people. If there’s a chance for fuss, attention, or a cosy moment together... I’ll take it every time.I’ve done my job as a mum. Now I’m ready to just be someone’s baby.Could I come home with you? About Bee available

What life with Bee available looks like

Bee available is a very small young adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at National Animal Welfare Trust in Watford.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bee available, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bee available?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. National Animal Welfare Trust handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bee available on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bee available if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — National Animal Welfare Trust will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bee available already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bee available isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with National Animal Welfare Trust early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bee available and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
