Beethoven

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! We know little about Beethovens past. Beethoven is approximately 9 months old and about 55 cm tall. Currently, he is still very shy and reserved. However, he shows no aggression. We are looking for experienced people for Beethoven who understand what it takes to help a fearful young puppy regain trust in people. Beethoven has not been allowed to experience life in a home so far and therefore still needs to learn the basics of being a dog. An enclosed garden would be ideal for Beethoven. This would give him the opportunity to acclimate to his new life at his own pace. Beethoven is a young dog who needs clear structures, patience, and training that can lead to trust. The support of a positively working dog training class would certainly be a great benefit. The handsome male dog with the intelligent gaze deserves a chance at a beautiful dog life, and with the right people who bring enough experience, he will certainly make the most of this chance. An experienced foster home would also be a great benefit here. For while all at the shelter are doing their best, a shelter is not the ideal place for fearful dogs to make significant progress. Beethoven travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas and has a valid EU pet passport. Stand: 25.12. Who would like to show Beethoven with understanding, experience, and love how beautiful life can be? Thank you, dear Clara, for this wonderful and fitting name. Thanks to you, Beethoven has a chance at a new life. This dog will be rehomed together with the association Arme Hundeseelen Rumänien. The double posting on both association sides and possibly on advertising portals serves to increase their visibility and find the right home for them more quickly. With the association, there is a close exchange. Every inquiry for the female dog is discussed directly and forwarded.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! About Beethoven

What life with Beethoven looks like

Beethoven is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Beethoven, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Beethoven?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Beethoven on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Beethoven if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Beethoven already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Beethoven isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Beethoven and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
