Belinda &amp

European Shorthair · Female · Young · 1 year

The kittens Belinda and Gabriela were born around May 2025. The sweet siblings were found on the street and, fortunately, brought to our Spanish partners. They are being lovingly cared for until they can hopefully move into a new home very soon. Belinda is blind in one eye, which is likely a result of a virus she had in the past. Gabriela suffers from ataxia, a neurological disorder that slightly affects her gait. Both cope well with their handicaps and are simply adorable and loving. They would love to move into their new comfortable home together. They get along very well and simply belong together. The kittens are currently still in Spain. They are already neutered and will also be vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped upon entry. Additionally, they have tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Would you like to offer these wonderful kittens their new haven of comfort?

About Belinda &amp

What life with Belinda &amp looks like

Belinda &amp is a small young adult european shorthair cat waiting at Aktion Tierisch Happy e.V. in Germany.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Belinda &amp, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Belinda &amp?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Aktion Tierisch Happy e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Belinda &amp on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Belinda &amp if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Aktion Tierisch Happy e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Belinda &amp already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Belinda &amp isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Aktion Tierisch Happy e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Belinda &amp and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
