Adopt Bella

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 22 months

Bella is related to Bluey Must be homed with Bluey Bella came into our care with her brother Bluey as their owner was no longer able to care for them. They are a beautiful pair of tabbies who have different markings. Bella is smaller and more spotted than her brother Bluey, who is bigger and has darker larger markings. Since being in a foster home they have settled well and interact with visitors. They love grooming each other and sleeping together curled up on their bed under the radiator. Now the weather is better they love sitting looking out watching the world go by. Since being in a foster home they have settled well and have more confidence with visitors. They love grooming each other and sleeping together curled up on their bed under the radiator. Bella is mum's little helper especially when she is changing the bed, as she loves to hide in the duvet. They are delightful, friendly companions and enjoy human company. They are a bonded pair so must be homed together.Garden requiredBella has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated

About Bella

What life with Bella looks like

Bella is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Hounslow Animal Welfare Society in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bella, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bella?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hounslow Animal Welfare Society handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bella on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bella if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hounslow Animal Welfare Society will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bella already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bella isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hounslow Animal Welfare Society early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bella and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
