adoption requirements adoption process Request this pet now! adoption requirements adoption process Request this dog now! Bella is a charming little female dog, about 2 years old, who captures hearts immediately with her fluffy appearance and playful ears. Her caramel-colored coat is especially beautiful and will surely shine even more with a bit of care. At about 25 cm tall, Bella belongs to the smaller dogs, making her a wonderful companion for many life situations. Bella was brought to the shelter by the Animal Police. However, for such a small pup, this place is far from ideal. It's loud, hectic, and exhausting – not a place where a sensitive soul can truly find peace. The little Bella is initially somewhat shy but always friendly and gentle. She gets along well with her fellow animals and interacts socially and compatibly. We wish for Bella a patient and loving family that gives her time to settle in and build trust. People who show her step by step that everything unfamiliar can eventually become familiar. With the right support, Bella will surely become bolder over time and discover how wonderful life can be. A quiet home, a soft dog bed, loving hands, and shared small adventures would help her finally flourish. Attending positive reinforcement-based dog training classes could also wonderfully accompany her journey. Bella will travel to Germany spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas, and she will naturally bring her EU pet passport with her. After a positive response, who will give this lovable little female dog with the playful ears the chance at a safe and secure home? Thank you, Nadine P.! You gave Bella her fitting name! Status: 08.05.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank Nadine P.! Du hast Bella ihren passenden Namen geschenkt! About Bella

What life with Bella looks like

Bella is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bella, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bella?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bella on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bella if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bella already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bella isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bella and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
