Bella

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! Bella has already found her family! Bella was found together with her mother Nala and her siblings Felix, Oreo, and Mabli behind a roadside sign on a country road. Simply abandoned and left to fend for herself. Fortunately, the little family was discovered in time and brought to safety. The little Bella is simply super cute. With her brown fur, her cute face, and her timid nature, she wraps you around her paw quickly. Plus, her little shortened tail, which doesn't hinder her in any way in everyday life. Unfortunately, however, Bella cannot be rehomed to Switzerland. Typical puppy behavior shows Bella to be playful, curious, and open. She wants to discover everything and would like to be everywhere at the same time. Of course, this includes typical puppy behavior. Playing, running around, gnawing on things, and exploring the world with full body involvement are currently at the top of her to-do list. Bella is growing up in a foster home in Romania with children, dogs, and cats. Since Bella has never lived in a real home before, she of course has to learn many things. House training, leash manners, quiet periods, or being alone are things that need to be built up step by step. It's not always immediate success, and that's simply part of being a puppy. Small mishaps, chewed objects, or wild moments should be accompanied with patience, humor, and understanding. Puberty will also eventually follow, and with it, the phase where rules are suddenly once again discussed, and the cute puppy slowly turns into a young dog with its own ideas. That's why it's important to accompany Bella through life with love, clarity, and consistency. A visit to a positively working dog training class can be a helpful support and help in building a good foundation together. For Bella, we wish for people who are eager to grow with a young dog and integrate her into their everyday life. Bella travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated with her EU pet passport to her new home. Who will fall in love with this little brown magic mouse and finally give her a home full of love and adventure? Many thanks to godparent Maxi B., who gave Bella her name and thus provided her with a chance at a new life. As of: 22.05.

About Bella

What life with Bella looks like

Bella is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bella, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bella?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bella on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bella if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bella already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bella isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bella and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
