Belo came into our care as a placement - and we are now looking for a loving forever home for our doggy opi. The funny little guy still has quite a bit of temperament - especially when he spots another dog. Then he barks and pulls on the leash. We are working on making Belo more relaxed around dogs. In his future home, it would be best to continue working on this, so that Belo can enjoy his senior years and his beloved walks relaxed. With his loved ones, Belo is a cuddly little teddy bear - but with strangers, he reacts skeptically and can sometimes show a terrier-typical, barking behavior due to uncertainty. Unfortunately, Belo has skin problems: There is a suspicion of an allergy. Due to his chronic, but not contagious inflammation of the skin, he suffers from itching and requires permanent regular skin care, regular veterinary visits and special food - increased veterinary costs are to be expected. Belo hat ganz schön viel Temperament - vor allem, wenn er einen anderen Hund erspäht. Dann wird gepöbelt und an der Leine gezogen. Wir arbeiten daran, dass Belo bei Hundebegegnungen gelassener bleibt. In seinem zukünftigen Zuhause sollte - am besten in einer Hundeschule - weiter daran gearbeitet werden, damit Belo seine geliebten Spaziergänge entspannt genießen kann. Mit seinen Liebsten ist Belo ein verkuschelter kleiner Teddybär - und würde seine Menschen am liebsten immer um sich haben. Bei Fremden reagiert er skeptisch und kann schon mal ein Terrier-typisches, pöbeliges Verhalten an den Tag legen. Leider leidet der Belo unter Hautproblemen: Es besteht der Verdacht auf eine Allergie. Wegen seiner chronischen, aber nicht ansteckenden Entzündung der Haut leidet er unter Juckreiz und benötigt dauerhaft regelmäßige Hautpflege, regelmäßige Tierarztbesuche und spezielles Futter - erhöhte Tierarztkosten sind zu erwarten.
