I'm a Dachshund-Shepherd mix. Maybe some of you still remember me, because this is my second visit to the animal shelter. My owner no longer had time for me, which is why I'm here. I would describe myself as a cuddly little guy who needs a get-to-know-you phase, because I don't find every human immediately dainty. Due to my age, arthritis was diagnosed in me, which is treated with pain medication. Since it's hard to predict how arthritis will progress, an indoor environment might not be a bad idea. I want to stay independent. Despite that, I'm very happy to go for a walk or play a little ball game. I especially enjoy these activities. I'm very attentive, obedient, and also run well on a leash. Treats work super with me over yummy snacks. I get along with other dogs and usually ignore those who pester me. I have a stubborn head, with which one should be clear. I simply push this on the Dachshund. Additionally, I have a problem with being alone, and I demonstrate this loudly. I simply love having a person with whom I can experience everything. Mischling * 10.09.2011 – braun- männlich – kastriert – mittel – ca. 14 kg verträglich mit Kindern: größere ja verträglich mit Katzen: unbekannt als Zweithund geeignet: ja im Tierheim seit: 04/2021 Juuuuhuuuu ich bin der Benni. Ich bin ein Dackel-Schäferhundmischling. Vielleicht kennt mich der ein oder andere noch, denn dies ist mein zweiter Besuch hier im Tierheim. Meine Besitzerin hatte keine Zeit mehr für mich, deswegen bin ich hier. Ich würde mich als verschmusten kleinen Kerl bezeichnen, der eine gewisse Kennenlernphase braucht, denn ich finde nicht jeden Zweibeiner auf Anhieb dufte. Altersbedingt wurde bei mir Arthrose festgestellt, die mit Schmerzmittel therapiert wird. Da man bei Arthrose nicht genau sagen kann, wie die sich weiterentwickelt wäre eine ebenerdige Umgebung nicht schlecht. Ich möchte nämlich gerne selbstständig bleiben. Trotz dessen bin ich sehr gerne draußen zum Spazieren gehen oder eine kleine Runde Ballspiel. Denn diese Dinge mache ich besonders gerne. Ich bin sehr aufmerksam, folgsam und laufe auch super an der Leine. Bestechung geht bei mir super über Leckerlie. Andere Hunde finde ich in Ordnung und die, die mich anpöpeln ignoriere ich meist. Ich habe eine kleinen Sturrkopf, mit dem man klar kommen sollte. Diesen schiebe ich einfach Mal auf den Dackel. Zudem habe ich ein Problem alleine bleiben zu müssen, diesbezüglich demonstriere ich auch lautstark. Ich schätze es einfach viel zu sehr einen Menschen bei mir zu haben mit dem ich alles erleben darf. Ich würde gerne das Tierheim diesmal in ein Für-Immer-Zuhause verlassen und meinen Lebensabend bei meinem Menschen verbringen dürfen.
