Benny is a cute but demanding dog looking for an experienced home. This is me: I'm a handsome dog with a slight underbite. Unfortunately, I am also quite insecure and anxious - this leads to me moving forward when I feel cornered. For example, I absolutely hate being held or touched. You need to know this for daily handling because it doesn't make living together any easier. I'm not an aggressive dog, but in that regard, very specific. I also don't like strangers (and veterinarians - you can imagine). Outdoors, cyclists, joggers or other passersby often unsettle me - then I bark or want to go there too. However, I know how to wear a muzzle, and with the right management we can definitely become a good team. Trust, routine and patience are key. I wish for... dog-experienced people who give guys like me a chance and adapt to my nature. Children should not live in my new home. You shouldn't expect too much from me and be willing to earn my deep trust over an extended period of time.

Ich bin Benny … ein niedlicher, aber anspruchsvoller Hund auf der Suche nach einem erfahrenen Zuhause. Das bin ich: Ich bin ein hübscher Hund mit leichtem niedlichen Unterbiss. Leider bin ich auch recht unsicher und ängstlich – das führt eher dazu, dass ich nach vorn gehe, wenn ich mich bedrängt fühle. Ich mag zum Beispiel überhaupt nicht festgehalten oder einfach angefasst werden. Das muss man für den täglichen Umgang wissen, denn es macht das Zusammenleben natürlich nicht einfacher. Ich bin kein böser Hund, aber was das angeht eben sehr speziell. Auch Fremde mag ich nicht (und Tierarzt – naja kannst du dir denken). Das Tragen eines Maulkorbs kenne ich aber, und mit dem richtigen Management können wir bestimmt ein gutes Team werden. Vertrauen, Routine und Geduld sind der Schlüssel. Ich wünsche mir … hundeerfahrene Menschen, die Kerlchen wie mir eine Chance geben und sich auf mein Wesen einstellen. Kinder sollten nicht in meinem neuen Zuhause leben. Man sollte nicht zu viel von mir erwarten und bereit sein, sich über einen längeren Zeitraum mein tiefes Vertrauen zu erarbeiten. Das gilt auch für die
