What is the situation with the cat group in Všetaty? A fourteen-cat group needs help, as their lives are at stake. The kind lady feeds the cats in the yard of the house where she rents an apartment. Unfortunately, the house owner and all the neighbors around the cats are very upset. The lady has been allowed to feed the cats for the last fourteen days, so they need to be taken away urgently. If you know us and follow our work, you know that we always try to negotiate for timid cats to be neutered here and returned to a safe location, but it's simply not possible here. The reality is that those who can't be caught won't survive until Christmas. There are 14 cats of various ages on site, four of which are very small kittens, who are in the most danger - they are cold and also like to crawl into the engines of surrounding cars to warm up. This is Bernard, the father of the whole family. An old tomcat, a grumpy and pirate-like cat. He isn't afraid to scratch and bite; he is really one of the toughest cats we've ever had here. An attempt at deworming ended with two bitten fingers, and eventually we found out that Bernard is old and has only two teeth in total. Obviously, he can still hit both very well. Bernard had a terrible ulcer on his eye and was treated yesterday for the eye and neutering. Unfortunately, the eye was not usable anymore and the tomcat could no longer see, so he is now a one-eyed pirate from a toothless grump.

Jaká je situace kočičí skupinky ve Všetatech? Pomoc potřebuje přibližně čtrnáctičlenná kočičí skupinka, kterým jde o život. Kočky krmí hodná paní na dvoře domu, kde má pronajatý byt. Bohužel majiteli domu i všem sousedům okolo kočky velmi vadí. Paní má kočky povolené krmit posledních čtrnáct dní, proto je třeba je urgentně odvézt. Pokud nás znáte a sledujete, víte, že se vždy snažíme plachým kočkám vyjednat ideálně jen kastraci u nás a návrat do bezpečné lokality, ale tady to prostě nejde. Realita je taková, že kdo se nepodaří odchytit, ten do Vánoc nevydrží.Na místě je 14 koček různého věku, z toho 4 úplně malá koťátka, kterým hrozí smrt nejdříve – jsou nastydlá a navíc si oblíbila zalézat zahřívat se do motorů okolních aut. Tohle je Bernard, otec celého rodu. Starý kocour, drsňák a pirát. Nebojí se sekat a kousat, je to opravdu jeden z nejdrsnějších koček, co jsme u nás kdy měli. Pokus o odčervení skončil dvěmi prokousnutými prsty a to jsme nakonec zjistili, že Bernard je asi starý a dohromady má jenom dva zuby. Očividně se ale oběma umí krásně trefit. Bernard měl hnusný vřed na oku a tak včera byl na ošetření oka a kastraci. Oko bohužel bylo nepoužitelné a kocour na něj už neviděl, tak je z bezzubého drsňáka jednooký pirát.
