BERTIE 4241- adoptat

Male · Young · 2 years

Bertie – a gentle soul, with a story that breaks hearts. Like many other dogs in Romania, Bertie has known cruelty and indifference. He was saved from a private shelter in Calarasi (Fundulea) and arrived at Ringo Land Romania on 27.09.2024, bringing with him fear, silence, and a weight on his shoulders that only a wounded animal can carry. He entered the behavioral rehabilitation program led by No Limit Pets Association, where, with the help of the dedicated team from Dog Rehabilitation Centre, Bertie began the long and difficult journey towards healing - emotional and physical. He is a neutered male, with a black-brown coat and a white patch on his chest, thin, with a look that says everything words cannot express. He weighs about 18 kg and is approximately 45 cm in height. He was born on April 4, 2015, but it is only now that he begins, truly, to feel what it means to live. Dog training and behavioral rehabilitation are essential for dogs like Bertie. And even though he is still scared, he makes daily progress. He needs a patient, warm family that can offer him the trust that people once took from him. Give Bertie the chance for a life where fear is replaced by love.

RO·Show original

Frequently asked

Adopting BERTIE 4241- adoptat, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about BERTIE 4241- adoptat?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. No Limit Pets handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw BERTIE 4241- adoptat on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt BERTIE 4241- adoptat if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — No Limit Pets will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is BERTIE 4241- adoptat already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if BERTIE 4241- adoptat isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with No Limit Pets early rather than rehoming privately; they know BERTIE 4241- adoptat and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (RO). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
