Bessy is a mixed-breed female puppy born in March 2025 who was abandoned along with her five siblings - Blossom, Betsy, Benson, Birdie and Britta - on the grounds of a factory near the Svilos animal shelter. She is now ready to travel and eagerly awaits a loving family where she can stay forever. Bessy is a friendly, gentle dog with a sensitive nature. She is initially shy and cautious around strangers but rewards patience and treats with slowly building trust. She greets familiar people by wagging her tail, jumping excitedly and seeking their attention. However, when someone tries to pet her, she initially backs away. Given time and not being rushed, she relaxes and enjoys petting from trusted individuals. As a puppy, Bessy was even more fearful but has made great progress since then, gaining confidence with each positive experience. In the exercise area, Bessy shows her relaxed side. She curiously explores her surroundings, sniffs extensively and likes to run freely. She especially enjoys water - she loves splashing in it. Bessy gets along well with other dogs. She is friendly and open towards them. Her behavior around cats and other animals is unknown to us. We are looking for a calm, understanding home for Bessy with people who have no high expectations and allow her to settle at her own pace. Those who approach her with patience, empathy and loving consistency will be rewarded with a loyal, curious and wonderful companion.

Bessy ist eine im März 2025 geborene Mischlingshündin, die als Welpe gemeinsam mit ihren fünf Geschwistern Blossom, Betsy, Benson, Birdie und Britta auf dem Gelände einer Fabrik in der Nähe des Tierheims in Svilos ausgesetzt wurde. Sie ist nun ausreisebereit und wartet sehnsüchtig auf eine liebevolle Familie, bei der sie für immer bleiben darf. Bessy ist eine freundliche, gutmütige Hündin mit einem sensiblen Charakter. Fremden gegenüber begegnet sie zunächst schüchtern und vorsichtig. Mit etwas Geduld und einem Leckerli lässt sie sich jedoch anlocken und beginnt langsam, Vertrauen zu fassen.Menschen, die sie kennt, begrüßt sie schwanzwedelnd, springt vor Begeisterung hoch und sucht ihre Aufmerksamkeit. Wenn man sie jedoch streicheln möchte, weicht sie zunächst noch aus. Gibt man ihr Zeit und bedrängt sie nicht, entspannt sie sich und genießt schließlich auch Streicheleinheiten von vertrauten Personen. Als Welpe war Bessy noch deutlich ängstlicher, doch sie hat seitdem große Fortschritte gemacht und gewinnt mit jeder positiven Erfahrung mehr Selbstvertrauen. In der Auslaufzone zeigt sich Bessy von ihrer entspannten Seite. Sie erkundet neugierig ihre Umgebung, schnuppert ausgiebig und läuft gerne frei umher. Besonders Wasser hat es ihr angetan – sie liebt es, darin zu planschen. Mit anderen Hunden ist Bessy verträglich. Sie liebt ihre Artgenossen und begegnet ihnen freundlich und offen. Ihr Verhalten gegenüber Katzen und anderen Tieren ist uns nicht bekannt. Für Bessy suchen wir ein ruhiges, verständnisvolles Zuhause bei Menschen, die keine schnellen Erwartungen haben und ihr die Möglichkeit geben, in ihrem eigenen Tempo anzukommen.
