Beyla

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! Beyla can stay forever in your foster home! 40223 Düsseldorf. Beyla is traveling to her foster home in January! Her story: Bistrita, Romania. Beyla and Stups – two charming ladies on their way to explore the world. Beyla is the mom and Stups her little daughter. They came to the shelter together and were dropped off there. Both were the circumstances at the shelter very suspicious, but they have not let their sunny dispositions and good spirits fade. Beyla is about 1 year old and incredibly charming in character. Even though she looks like a small dachshund due to her small size (6 kg, 28 cm), she does not have the typical long body shape and also not the stubborn dachshund head. She is absolutely adorable and very friendly with people and other animals. She loves being petted and cuddle units are the greatest for her. Beyla would surely settle down on the couch for a cuddle after a nice walk with her new family. The two girls currently live in a small pen with about 5 other dogs of any gender and size and get along well with all of them. Every person who enters the pen is greeted warmly by the girls. Beyla has surely not heard of house training, leash walking, and the like, but will definitely learn with patience, love, and consistency. During the adjustment period, one must definitely invest a lot of time, but after that, you will surely have a great companion with Beyla. For the guidance through this challenging time, we recommend attending a positively working dog training class. Our lovely Beyla can travel neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated, and she also brings her EU pet passport. Have you fallen in love with Beyla? Then contact us! A foster home would also be a great opportunity for her and would greatly help her. Many thanks, Anna! You named Beyla!. This animal was surrendered to the shelter.

Hast du dich in Beyla verliebt? Vielen Dank Anna! Du hast Beyla ihren Namen geschenkt!

About Beyla

What life with Beyla looks like

Beyla is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Beyla, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Beyla?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Beyla on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Beyla if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Beyla already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Beyla isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Beyla and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
