How do I contact the shelter about BEZIK?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Świdnica handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw BEZIK on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt BEZIK if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Świdnica will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is BEZIK already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if BEZIK isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Świdnica early rather than rehoming privately; they know BEZIK and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

BEZIK

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 6 years

Bezik is looking for a home, and we would love for him to share his future with Czoko. Bezik came to our shelter with Czoko, and from the beginning, it's clear how much they are connected. They seek closeness, support each other, and are often seen snuggled up together. That's why our biggest dream is for them to find a shared home and stay together. Bezik is a friendly dog who enjoys human contact and gets along well with other dogs. He is friendly and enjoys human company. Bezik still can't walk on a leash, so the future owner will need to spend time teaching him this skill in a calm and patient manner. In a new home, patience, consistency, and gradual acclimation to walks will be needed. We are looking for a home for Bezik that will take him and Czoko together. They are very close, and separating them is not an option we would want for them. If you dream of two dogs that already have a special bond, maybe Bezik and Czoko are waiting for you. About BEZIK

What life with BEZIK looks like

BEZIK is a small adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko Świdnica in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.
