Biba - 3

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 5 years

Biba is playful and social. She absolutely loves playing with other cats, so she really needs a cat buddy. She needs a partner in crime to plot cat adventures with. She doesn't like playful nipping; if you do that, she slips away. Her caregiver told us this with a grin; she adores her and her little personality. If desired, we can ask her caregiver who her friends are and let her travel together with them. Biba was found as a baby. She was dirty and hungry. She was alone and cried her little lungs out for attention. A woman took her home and cared for her. The woman passed away, and that's when her cats began searching for a new home. Her family members were not interested in her cats. The neighbors called our cat rescue friend for help. All the people living there are elderly and no longer able to care for the cats. One of the people was friends with the woman and knew their stories and unge

Frequently asked

Adopting Biba - 3, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Biba - 3?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Stichting Zilver handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Biba - 3 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Biba - 3 if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Stichting Zilver will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Biba - 3 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Biba - 3 isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Stichting Zilver early rather than rehoming privately; they know Biba - 3 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
