Adopt Bibi

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Senior · 20 years

Little Bibi is looking for a home. Bibi is about 4 months old and is staying in the shelter with her siblings along with other cats and dogs. She is a very affectionate kitten, likes human contact and willingly cuddles with other kittens. Bibi is tiny, small and very calm, and this character stands out from the entire noisy rest of her siblings. She likes to play with strings, balls, and a fishing rod. Like any little one, she is curious and will play with everything. She loves to lie on soft blankets and furry nests. She is not picky about food and eats nicely from the bowl. All that is missing for her happiness is her own home for life. Bibi is healthy, fiv/felv tests are negative, dewormed and vaccinated, has a microchip and health record. The adoption agreement will include a condition for later spaying. The kitten is staying in the shelter near Rybnik. We are looking for a home that is not outgoing, ready for a small, delicate, and sensitive kitten as well as playing with her. If someone considers adoption, please fill out the non-binding questionnaire: After completing it, please wait for contact from the caregiver from the foundation. Adoption procedure: 1. Fill out the questionnaire from the link 2.

About Bibi

What life with Bibi looks like

Bibi is a small senior mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią in Poland.

Senior cats are the gentlest house guests: predictable, mostly silent, and grateful for a sunny windowsill. Older cats often have minor dental or kidney issues — keep an eye on water intake and weight. Many sleep eighteen hours a day and want no part of any drama.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bibi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bibi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bibi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bibi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bibi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bibi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bibi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
