Biguine

Female · Kitten · 5 months

Biguine is a 5-month-old female, playful, mischievous and always ready for a little prank! Despite her shyness, she is curious and adapts quickly to her environment, observing a lot before taking action. Biguine will simply need some time to seek cuddles and accept being carried. She already enjoys human closeness as she likes to sleep on the bed, near the legs. With time and trust, we are sure she will reveal all her sweetness. 🥰 She gets along with cats and dogs! She can live alone provided there is a human present and playful enough, but the company of a sociable cat would be a real plus to help her flourish. Biguine can also live with children, provided they are calm and respectful: she will flee from screams and sudden movements. 🩷 Born on April 15, 2026 ✔️ Identified ✔️ Vaccinated ✔️ Dewormed ✔️ Ok cats 🐱 ✔️ Ok dogs 🐶 ✔️ Ok calm children ⚠️ Shy, sensitive to screams and sudden movements ✔️ Sterilization mandatory at the required age 📍 Visible in foster care in Landéda

About Biguine

What life with Biguine looks like

Biguine is a kitten cat waiting at La Patte sur le Cœur BZH in France.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Biguine, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Biguine?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. La Patte sur le Cœur BZH handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Biguine on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Biguine if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — La Patte sur le Cœur BZH will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Biguine already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Biguine isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with La Patte sur le Cœur BZH early rather than rehoming privately; they know Biguine and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
