Bili

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 4 years

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Bili has found her home! Her story: Big eyes, sail-like ears, and white whiskers: the sweet, confident Bili wants to finally arrive. Bili has settled in very well at her foster home and shows herself to be absolutely clingy, people-oriented, and cuddly. She learns very quickly and wants to please "her" person all the time. She is already house-trained, can stay alone with her dog buddies for a few hours, and goes on walks with great enthusiasm on a leash. In her forever home, she may present herself differently, but with a little patience and love, one gets a dreamy small dog in Bili. She gets along well with other dogs (and also with cats). She loves to play and is an active female dog with a high need for contact with "her" people. Initially, Bili meets strangers with skepticism but soon becomes familiar. She is getting used to the household environment. The current issue is still indoor stairs – but she can be carried without a problem. Bili prefers a quiet environment, but she also gets used to several trusted people, so that older children in her new family are no problem. She would be happy to be a singleton princess, but she also gets along very well with male dogs. Who has a cozy spot free for the Mops mix Bili with plenty of shared walks and maybe also the search for the right mental stimulation in a dog training class? At 4 years old, she has already gone through the child stage and puberty, but her whole life lies ahead. Ready for Bili? Bili travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated with her EU pet passport in her luggage. Thank you Ker W.! You gave the little Bili a name and thus the chance at a happy future. Status: 14.07. Walks well on a leash.

Stand: 14.07.2025

About Bili

What life with Bili looks like

Bili is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bili, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bili?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bili on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bili if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bili already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bili isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bili and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
