Bingo is a gorgeous 4-year-old black-and-white Domestic Shorthair with a big purr-sonality and an even bigger love for people!Bingo is a very confident, affectionate boy who absolutely adores human company. If there are cuddles on offer, Bingo will be there! He would happily spend the whole day sitting on your lap, soaking up attention and enjoying a good brush.Bingo also has a playful side. He enjoys initiating play and particularly likes his flirt pole and soft toys that he can grab, chase and wrestle with. He is comfortable using litter trays and cat flaps, too.He isn’t overly keen on being picked up or restrained for too long, as this can make him uncomfortable.Bingo is looking for a home where he can be the one and only feline VIP and receive plenty of love and attention. His dream home would include:Safe neighbourhood to explore, he wants to be outside!Plenty of cuddles and affectionBeing the only pet β€” no other cats or dogs, please!Lots of opportunities for play

About Bingo

What life with Bingo looks like

Bingo is a large adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at RSPCA Preston & District Branch in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction β€” every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bingo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bingo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Preston & District Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bingo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bingo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” RSPCA Preston & District Branch will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Bingo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bingo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Preston & District Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bingo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
