Bippity

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

"Hello 💕 My name is Bippity and I am an incredibly charming girl. I haven't always had it easy and was a bit left to myself early in life. But I have proven to be a resourceful little lady! I constantly surprise my foster mother by, for example, climbing up on a shelf and getting down a bag of treats! And indeed, I manage to shake out a few treats and! Nobody should underestimate me, even though I look like a lovely little flower, si! 🤭😌🌸 I have slowly but surely learned that there is plenty of food now, and I can rest on my laurels. But be careful with the mackerel box, says foster mother 😉 I also love to play with my friend Earl Grey. I always want to rub against him and get some closeness. He has become like a big brother to me! I can get the upper hand if we play fight and! He is a bit lazy, while I am tough and spry. But we have a lot of fun. We can be adopted together, but it is not a requirement. Maybe you have a tame cat from before I can become friends with? I really want to live with another cat. If foster mother plays with a feather toy with me, I will just take it from her! I am really stubborn and pull and pull until I get it. Then I go off with it, and Earl Grey doesn't get it either!👸🏼 Otherwise, I am mostly happy to be with the people I know from before but I am curious and! I am becoming more and more social and like to sit with foster mother and follow to see what she is doing. Over time, I will probably learn what cuddling is and that it's nice! But foster mother is struggling a bit so far with getting me to be stroked with a play stick etc. I just want to take that! I would also like to lick the liquid treat off your finger. I like to have it good and warm and quiet indoors, but could probably enjoy having outdoor opportunities and. I like it when something happens in everyday life. But the most important thing is a safe and loving home and that I have someone who I know takes care of me 💗 Maybe it's you?" Sincerely Bippity 🌸💕 Bippity is neutered, ID-marked with chip, vaccinated and has received a full health check as well as deworming.

About Bippity

What life with Bippity looks like

Bippity is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Hjerte for Hjemløse Katter in Trollåsen.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇳🇴Adopting from Norway

Norwegian rescues require thorough background checks. Animals leave with a Nordic pet passport and full vetting. Norway is outside the EU so import rules differ slightly — TRACES applies.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bippity, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bippity?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hjerte for Hjemløse Katter handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bippity on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bippity if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hjerte for Hjemløse Katter will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bippity already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bippity isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hjerte for Hjemløse Katter early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bippity and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NB). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
