Bruno is housed at the Swiss Ranch. We provide placement assistance for the Animal Protection Center/Swiss Ranch. Bruno's care costs an average of €100.00 per month, and we are looking for sponsors to cover this. For 2026, monthly coverage by sponsors: Ms. S. S. from March 2026 €5.00 One-time donations: €0.00 Total so far for 2026: €5.00 Current description June 2025: Bruno has warmed up. He is housed together with a male dog and gets along well with him. Curious and open, he runs over when you enter the enclosure and does a play bow and sit to earn a treat. He loves being petted above all else and doesn't want you to leave at all. He's such a handsome little guy who just needs to be seen now.... Background: A woman from Ballászög, who is going through hard times, visited our animal shelter after she was no longer able to care for her six dogs following her husband's death. Unfortunately, these dogs suffer from serious behavioral problems, mainly because they were not properly socialized, and it seems they are not used to approaching people or adapting to changes in their environment. Our main task now is to help these dogs rebuild trust in people and stop being afraid of everyone. We are trying to develop appropriate behavioral patterns with them so they don't have to spend their entire lives in an animal shelter. We treat each dog individually, taking into account his personality and past experiences, so we can help each dog in an appropriate way. Our dedicated team is doing its best to help these dogs lead happy and balanced lives again, and we hope that in time they will find the loving homes they deserve. Bruno is one of the puppies from the pairing of Lola and Bobby and has the potential to overcome his shyness. With intensive care and patient interaction, he will slowly open up. *If more donations are received than indicated, they will be used for the association's purposes. About Bitte spenden Sie hier

What life with Bitte spenden Sie hier looks like

Bitte spenden Sie hier is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. in Schnarup-Thumby.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bitte spenden Sie hier, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bitte spenden Sie hier?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bitte spenden Sie hier on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bitte spenden Sie hier if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bitte spenden Sie hier already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bitte spenden Sie hier isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bitte spenden Sie hier and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
