His story: Our Bjarne and his siblings had a harsh start in life together. The poor souls, dependent on care, food, and love, were cruelly placed in a cardboard box and abandoned in the middle of the night. Fortunately, their previous owners weren't completely callous and left the box near our animal rescuer Stefan's house, allowing him to find and bring the helpless puppies to safety quickly. Now, Bjarne and his siblings need to find a forever home as soon as possible, because their current accommodation at a Romanian foster home is very cramped and only equipped with the basics. Individual care cannot be provided there. Bjarne is currently very shy and sometimes anxious in certain situations. We assume that the experiences during his first weeks of life have made him very insecure. Slowly, on small paws, Bjarne is getting to know his surroundings. He needs time and trust to open up. With a high probability, Bjarne is a mix of a herding dog and a shelter dog. Herding dogs are impressive fur-noses, as they have been valued as loyal companions for centuries, originally bred to protect livestock like sheep or goats from predators and other dangers. Freedom of movement and mental stimulation are very important for this breed to feel comfortable and to develop in an animal-appropriate way. Therefore, a house with a garden is an absolute must. Bjarne gets along well with other dogs. A confident single dog can therefore wait at the door to a forever home for him. Whether he also likes cats, we do not know at the moment. Without a doubt, puberty will knock at his door in a few weeks or months. This necessary phase of hormonal adjustment can temporarily lead to rebelliousness or even forgetfulness. Empathy and patience should be shown here, as Bjarne needs puberty to start his adult life happily. Since a herding dog-mix breed is so impressive and challenging, Bjanre should only be rehomed to an experienced dog owner. Has the still somewhat reserved heartbreaker touched your soul? Seine Geschichte: Unser Bjarne durchlebte gemeinsam mit seinen Geschwistern einen grausamen Start ins Leben. Die armen Seelen, auf Fürsorge, Nahrung und Liebe angewiesen, wurden herzlos in einen Karton gesteckt und mitten in der Nacht ausgesetzt. Immerhin waren ihre Vorbesitzer nicht völlig skrupellos und stellten den Karton unweit entfernt vom Haus unseres Tierschützers Stefan ab, sodass er die hilflosen Welpen recht schnell fand und in Sicherheit bringen konnte. Nun müssen Bjarne und seine Geschwister schnellstmöglich ein Für-immer-Zuhause finden, denn ihre aktuelle Unterkunft auf einer rumänischen Pflegestelle ist sehr beengt und nur mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet. Zudem kann dort keine individuelle Betreuung stattfinden. Bjarne ist aktuell noch sehr schüchtern und in einigen Situationen etwas ängstlich. Wir gehen davon aus, dass ihn die Erlebnisse während seiner ersten Lebenswochen sehr unsicher gemacht haben. Ganz allmählich, auf kleinen Pfoten, tastet sich Bjarne an seine Umgebung heran. Er benötigt etwas Zeit und Vertrauen, um sich öffnen zu können. Mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit handelt es sich bei Bjarne um einen Herdenschutzhund-Mix. Herdenschutzhunde sind beeindruckende Fellnasen, da sie, ursprünglich gezüchtet, um Nutztiere wie Schafe oder Ziegen vor Raubtieren und anderen Gefahren zu bewahren, seit Jahrhunderten als treue Begleiter geschätzt werden. Bewegungsfreiheit sowie geistige Auslastung sind sehr wichtig für diese Rasse, damit sie sich wohlfühlen und artgerecht entfalten können. Ein Haus mit Garten ist daher eine absolutes Muss. Mit anderen Hunden versteht sich Bjarne sehr gut. Ein souveräner Ersthund kann demnach gerne an der Pforte zum Für-immer-Zuhause auf ihn warten. Ob er auch Katzen mag, wissen wir aktuell nicht. Zweifellos wird aber die Pubertät in einigen Wochen bzw. wenigen Monaten an seine Tür klopfen. Diese notwendige Phase der hormonellen Umstellung kann zeitweise zu Aufmüpfigkeit oder auch Vergesslichkeit führen. Hier sollten Empathie und Nachsicht an den Tag gelegt werden, denn Bjarne benötigt die Pubertät, um glücklich ins Erwachsenenleben starten zu können. Da ein Herdenschutzhund-Mischling so beeindruckend wie herausfordernd ist, sollte Bjanre nur an einen erfahrenen Hundebesitzer vermittelt werden. Hat der noch etwas zurückhaltende Herzensbrecher deine Seele berührt? Er kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht zum vierbeinigen Hauptdarsteller deines Lebens werden und bringt natürlich auch seinen EU-Heimtierausweis mit.
