Compatibility: suitable as second cats; ideal living arrangement: apartment with a secure balcony/garden, possibly with supervised outdoor access. Health: tested negative for FIV/FeLV, microchipped, vaccinated (rhinotracheitis/panleukopenia). Adoption fee: 230 euros per tomcat. These two handsome fellows met at one of our foster homes. Although they’re not related, they make such a dream team that we’d like to place them together. Mio and Salt were both born on the street. They came to us through spay/neuter campaigns and were then socialized with lots of love and care at their foster homes, becoming well-adjusted to human company. Both are very sociable tomcats who quickly bond with other cats of their own species. They’re highly playful and both have plenty of energy. They also both enjoy cuddling—though Mio is probably the more affectionate of the two. Salt is still a bit more reserved. As “former strays,” they initially approach unfamiliar people with caution. However, with treats and play, you’ll quickly earn their trust. Mio and Salt need plenty of space to play and romp around, as well as a spot where they can bask in the sun. A securely fenced balcony or a safe garden would be perfect. Outdoor access would only be suitable in a very safe residential area. The foster home is located in Cologne. I’m interested in this cat. Auch wenn sie nicht miteinander verwandt sind, geben sie ein solches Dreamteam ab, dass sie zusammen vermittelt werden sollen.Mio und Salt wurden beide auf der Straße geboren. Sie fanden im Rahmen von Kastrationsaktionen den Weg zu uns und wurden dann mit viel Liebe und Zuwendung auf ihren Pflegestellen aus uns Menschen sozialisiert.Beide sind sehr soziale Kater, die auch mit anderen Artgenossen schnell Kontakt aufnehmen. Sie sind sehr verspielt und haben beide auch sehr viel Power. Beide kuscheln auch gerne, wobei Mio wohl die größere Schmusebacke von den Beiden ist. Salt ist da noch ein bisschen zurüchhaltend.Als „ehemalige Wildlinge“ begegnen sie fremden Menschen anfangs noch mit Vorsicht. Mit Leckerchen und Spielen findet man aber schnell einen Zugang zu ihnen.Mio und Salt brauchen ausreichend Platz zum Spielen und Toben und einen Ort, wo sie sich in der Sonne räkeln können. Ein gut gesicherter Balkon oder ein gesicherter Garten wäre prima. Freigang käme nur in einer sehr sicheren Wohngegend in Frage.Die Pflegestelle befindet sich in Köln.
