Blinky

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 1 month

Blinky is a medium-sized, neutered male Blinky breed dog. His previous owners did everything for him: they took him to several training sessions and even financed a 6-week training course in Gödöllő. Unfortunately, the relationship between them did not develop into what they all wanted. Next week, Blinky will move back to the Boldoghotel, where he feels comfortable, balanced and knows the environment. Blinky is about 1.5 years old, extremely intelligent and loves to learn. He is not suitable for a beginner owner, but with a determined and consistent person, he can be a wonderful companion. He loves to work, learn new tasks, and if trust is established, he will loyally follow his owner. We are looking for a home where he is treated as a partner, where time is spent with him and his exceptional intelligence is valued. You can inquire about our protégés at the phone number 06-30-444-1682 or send us your introductory letter to ebremeny.hu.

About Blinky

What life with Blinky looks like

Blinky is a medium-sized puppy mixed breed dog waiting at Ebremény in Hungary.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Blinky, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Blinky?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ebremény handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Blinky on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Blinky if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ebremény will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Blinky already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Blinky isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ebremény early rather than rehoming privately; they know Blinky and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
