How do I contact the shelter about Blizzard?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. La Patte sur le Cœur BZH handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Blizzard on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Blizzard if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — La Patte sur le Cœur BZH will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Blizzard already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Blizzard isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with La Patte sur le Cœur BZH early rather than rehoming privately; they know Blizzard and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Blizzard

Male · Kitten · 4 months

Blizzard is a 4-month-old adorable kitten with a cute little Siamese look. He arrived very fearful of humans, but has made good progress and is now much more comfortable. He loves cuddles, especially under the chin, purrs very easily, and comes willingly to the human when they get to his height. Still sensitive to sudden movements, he knows how to make it clear when he is not comfortable and will then prefer to take a little distance. Very greedy, he comes to get treats and wet food directly from the hand! Playful, he loves playing with his sister and playing with his human with a string. He is also very comfortable during the day and can handle periods of loneliness well. With a gentle and patient family, Blizzard will be able to continue to gain confidence and become a lovely little cat who is comfortable in his own skin. 🥰 Blizzard is available for adoption in Plouguerneau.

About Blizzard

What life with Blizzard looks like

Blizzard is a puppy/kitten cat waiting at La Patte sur le Cœur BZH in France.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.
