Blue is a beautiful tomcat who has roamed the neighborhood for many years. He likely had a hiding spot there, but would regularly come by for food and then disappear quickly. Lately, however, he has been seeking the vicinity of the feeding station more often – as if he is now finally looking for a permanent place where he is allowed to stay. Currently, Blue does not feel comfortable in the cat pack. He is unsure, afraid of the other cats, and often appears nervous. What he experienced outside, we do not know – but it is clear that he has had something bad happen to him. When one tries to stroke him, he reacts with defensiveness out of insecurity: he swats at the hand without being aggressive, simply out of fear. However, at feeding time, he allows touch and even snuggles up to the legs of the people he trusts. Blue responds well to his name and shows that he wants closeness – he just needs time, peace, and people with patience. With loving care and a calm environment, he will surely gain trust, relax, and become a faithful companion. For Blue, we wish for a cat-experienced home with understanding for his history. Ideally, it would be a quiet single spot without other cats and without small children, where he can initially come into the house. After his settling period, he should definitely be allowed free roam. Blue deserves the chance to finally arrive, gain trust, and open his heart – in his own cautious, but loving way. We want to spare our animals long journeys and hope for inquiries within a radius of max. 100 kilometers. This cat needs outdoor access.

Blue ist ein wunderschöner Kater, der viele Jahre in der Nachbarschaft umhergestreift ist. Er hatte dort vermutlich einen Unterschlupf, kam aber regelmäßig zum Fressen vorbei und verschwand danach schnell wieder. In letzter Zeit sucht er jedoch deutlich öfter die Nähe zur Futterstelle – als würde er nun endlich nach einem festen Platz suchen, an dem er bleiben darf. Im jetzigen Katzenrudel fühlt sich Blue allerdings nicht wohl. Er ist unsicher, hat Angst vor den anderen Katzen und wirkt oft nervös. Was er draußen erlebt hat, wissen wir nicht – doch man merkt, dass er Schlimmes hinter sich hat. Versucht man, ihn zu streicheln, reagiert er aus Unsicherheit mit Abwehr: Er schlägt nach der Hand, ohne aggressiv zu sein, schlicht aus Angst. Beim Fressen hingegen lässt er Berührungen zu und schmiegt sich sogar um die Beine der Menschen, denen er vertraut. Blue hört gut auf seinen Namen und zeigt, dass er eigentlich Nähe möchte – er braucht nur Zeit, Ruhe und Menschen mit Geduld. Mit liebevoller Fürsorge und einem ruhigen Umfeld wird er sicherlich Vertrauen fassen, sich entspannen und ein treuer Begleiter werden. Für Blue wünschen wir uns ein katzenerfahrenes Zuhause mit Verständnis für seine Geschichte. Ideal wäre ein ruhiger Einzelplatz ohne andere Katzen und ohne kleine Kinder, in dem er zunächst im Haus ankommen kann. Nach seiner Eingewöhnungszeit sollte er auf jeden Fall wieder Freigang bekommen dürfen. Blue verdient die Chance, endlich anzukommen, Vertrauen zu fassen und sein Herz zu öffnen – auf seine eigene, vorsichtige, aber liebevolle Art. Wir möchten unseren Tieren lange Fahrstrecken ersparen und hoffen auf Anfragen im Umkreis von max. 100 Kilometern.
