Blue

Mixed Breed · Male

BLUE Officially Blue our Weimaraner is looking for a home. This is about a 4-year-old male already neutered. Healthy, cheerful, vaccinated. He is looking for a firm home with rules. This is a very positive dog, but he has an issue with food resource guarding. Such a big problem that he bit and the new family will have to consistently follow the adoption guidelines from the beginning. This is a young, cheerful, very active dog... very active. He will be looking for an active home, absolutely no small children. The guy is a regular kennel that dismantles in first parts in about 3 minutes... a so-called safe cage/kennel will be needed, made of strong elements, either twisted or welded. Owning this cage will be an adoption requirement, just like training with Blue! And I'm not exaggerating, because the guy once ate a glass jar out of boredom.

BLUE Oficjalnie Blue nasz wyżeł weimarski szuka domu To około 4 letni samiec już po kastracji. Zdrowy, wesoły zachipowany i zaszczepiony. Poszukuje stanowczego domu z zasadami. Osoby zainteresowane adopcją zapraszamy do wypełnienia ankiety adopcyjnej. Kontakt w sprawie adopcji: Agata 506952182 – ale nadal będę wymagać wypełnienia ankiety adopcyjnej, bo to oszczędza nam co najmniej godzinę rozmowy.

About Blue

What life with Blue looks like

Blue is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Blue, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Blue?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Blue on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Blue if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Blue already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Blue isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią early rather than rehoming privately; they know Blue and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
