Bob spent most of his life as a community cat in Dubai. When he suddenly stopped eating, he was brought into veterinary care and diagnosed with a severe dental infection that required multiple tooth extractions. Since rescue, Bob has made a full recovery. He is now healthy, stable and fully adapted to indoor life. Bob is an affectionate and people-oriented cat who thrives on human companionship. He forms strong bonds with his caregivers and finds great comfort in simply being near people. He is calm, trusting and comfortable with gentle handling. He can be picked up when needed and responds well to soft and respectful interaction. Bob has a calm presence and is very food motivated, always looking forward to mealtimes. He is a low-energy, easy-going cat who spends most of his time resting in cosy spots and enjoying peaceful surroundings. Bob has lived with small children and would suit a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and included. Health or disability details- He is FIV+ and had 8 teeth removed and stomatitis but has fully recovered now. Temperament details – Very affectionate and people-oriented and thrives on human companionship and forms strong bonds with his caregivers. He is very cuddly and actively seeks out affection and closeness with his humans whenever possible. He is playful and enjoys interactive toys such as strings and wand toys. He is also a bit chatty and enjoys vocal interaction with people. He has shown positive behaviour towards other cats although he has not yet been deeply tested with dogs. His previous foster had a female cat and they were good together and when he was outdoors with other cats also never showed signs of aggression. He has been introduced to dogs and was not bothered so families with dogs, with the right introduction, are also suitable. He was in a foster with a small boy and he was comfortable around him as long as he wouldn’t chase him. So it would really depend on the way the situation was managed by the parent (as always)
