Lilly, Bobby und Kai (Wohnungskatzen)

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 3 years

Bobby and Kai are a dream team. The two would like to definitely move into their new home together. They are the sons of Scottish Fold tomcat Toni and Russian Blue lady Lilly. Although they do not have the deaf ears of their father or the silver color of their mother, they have inherited all the lovable, funny, and affectionate traits from them. Unfortunately, Scottish Folds inevitably have a genetic defect related to cartilage and bone abnormalities, which is why their ears are bent. This often leads to pain throughout their lives and can be treated with pain medication. Can you not tell the two apart? It's very simple, because the handsome Bobby has one blue and one green eye: Bobby was diagnosed with a heart condition (HCM), which does not need to be treated with medication. However, he should visit the cardiologist regularly to intervene medicinally if it worsens. ...and this is Kai: ...a little... Obviously, you must fall in love with the two right away, or! We don't want to judge which of the two is more charming, sweet, and open, that has to be discovered for yourself. The two tomcats would also be happy in a family with children, previous experience with cats is not required. However, a requirement is that you are regularly at home so that the two get enough variety. Means, being away for 10 hours a day is not good for them. Too boring! Because at just three years old, they already behave like teenagers who need to come up with something together. And they prefer to do it especially with their two-legged friends! An apartment with a balcony that can be secured would be ideal, as well as sufficient space (minimum 70sqm) would be great. DE·Show original

About Lilly, Bobby und Kai (Wohnungskatzen)

What life with Lilly, Bobby und Kai (Wohnungskatzen) looks like

Lilly, Bobby und Kai (Wohnungskatzen) is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Tierheim Helenenhof-Hürth/Tierschutzverein in Hürth.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lilly, Bobby und Kai (Wohnungskatzen), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lilly, Bobby und Kai (Wohnungskatzen)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Helenenhof-Hürth/Tierschutzverein handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lilly, Bobby und Kai (Wohnungskatzen) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lilly, Bobby und Kai (Wohnungskatzen) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Helenenhof-Hürth/Tierschutzverein will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lilly, Bobby und Kai (Wohnungskatzen) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lilly, Bobby und Kai (Wohnungskatzen) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Helenenhof-Hürth/Tierschutzverein early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lilly, Bobby und Kai (Wohnungskatzen) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
