Adopt Bobert – FA

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 17 years

I'm named Bobert, I'm about 8 weeks old. You want to know my future size, my future look? Surprise!! Only I know the breed of my parents and I won't tell you! A little patience and you'll discover it! I arrived at my foster family 4 weeks ago with my little brother. This little lucky one has just found his super adoptive family. But I still have the last word, I'll make more than a few swoon with my hazel eyes and my little black face! Watch out, I'll be demanding in my choice! Having lived through a first abandonment, deprived of my mom, I want a family that's kind, devoted, overflowing with love!! Who knows the education of a puppy! For I pee and poop everywhere! Hahaha I gnaw on hands, arms, feet, and whatever I can find! I don't obey "no" and it will take a lot of patience and time before I do!! Hahaha I'll howl and do a bunch of mischief if you leave me alone for more than 3 or 4 hours! It's said that I'll only go to a family that can give me a lot, a lot of time!! I want a kind education, I don't want to be trained or yelled at! A contract signed with a canine educator will be requested on the day of adoption to give me a good foundation. I'm very energetic and fun, but deep down I must admit that I'm a big stresser! I count on you to help me channel my emotions! I want to grow up with friends but no dominant buddy! Because I'll be a real male, with character. And then, who cares, I'm not here to suffer! I'm a ball of love and too cute (yes I know…)! But don't forget that I grow very fast!! I intend to live at least 17 years, so before you rush to your phone, think, it's my life that's at stake!! I'm not a stuffed animal, the fulfillment of a whim, or a gift to give! If you've been wanting to adopt a puppy for a while, and your decision is well thought out: send a text to my foster mom with your motivations and your family situation, she'll call you back if your profile matches my expectations! Goodbye the company, maybe we'll see each other again, but especially for life! My profile interests you and you want to meet me? Contact the LPA-NF of Lille at our area or at the address which will put you in contact with my foster family! Thank you for preferring a first contact by text, your foster family will contact you for a phone meeting.

Je m’appelle Bobert, j’ai environ 8 semaines. Vous voulez connaître ma future taille, mon futur look ? Surprise !! About Bobert – FA

What life with Bobert – FA looks like

Bobert – FA is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at LPA Nord de la France in Lille.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bobert – FA, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bobert – FA?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. LPA Nord de la France handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bobert – FA on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bobert – FA if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — LPA Nord de la France will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bobert – FA already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bobert – FA isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with LPA Nord de la France early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bobert – FA and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
