Adopt Bodie

Male · Adult · 4 years

Bodie is a loving male dog who forms very strong attachments to his people, especially women. He needs a home where someone will be around to keep him company and gradually build up his alone time. He must be the only pet due to his strong chase drive and reactivity to wildlife and cats. He requires continued training around other dogs. While friendly with people, he doesn't like being disturbed while resting and is unsure around children, so needs an adults-only home. He has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after adoption.

Due to this, he will need to go to a home with adults only. What type of environment would suit me? Bodie will need a secure garden with 6ft fencing in his new home, giving him a safe space to roam freely and stretch his long Lurcher legs. He loves spending time outside with his people, especially when they’re gardening, and will happily entertain himself by throwing his toys around. About Bodie Bodie is a very gentle and affectionate soul. He loves having a good play and zoom about in a typical lurcher fashion before crashing out in his comfiest spot. He enjoys his walks and saying hello to as many people as possible (although we are teaching him that not everyone loves dogs the same way he loves people!). Bodie is ready to find his forever family in people who are looking for their new best friend!
