Bogota

Bogota Name: Bogota Type: female. Date of birth: 01/04/2022 Weight: 15 kg. Breed: Mixed breed Spayed: Yes TEMPERAMENT Dogs Cats Children THE CHARACTER AND STORY OF BOGOTA I am the beautiful Bogota. My early life was difficult. Left to myself on the street, pregnant, I was fortunately secured and Stephanie is now taking care of me while I find my family. My puppies have found theirs, it's now my turn! I am rather shy but once reassured and trusting, I am a very kind dog and a real cuddle machine. I don't let strangers approach me too much, but I don't run away either. I love the company of other animals of the same species! To be happy, I need a lot of love, attention and great walks! But above all, I will need a patient family, who takes the time to give me confidence and help me continue my socialization. I am not very comfortable in town, so a family in the countryside, in a house with a garden would be ideal for me and a dog companion would be a must! I want to be adopted They need you! In concrete terms? Thanks to your donations, we save, we treat, we identify, we sterilize, we make adoptions...

Bogota Nom : BogotaType : femelle. Date de naissance : 01/04/2022Poids : 15 kg. Race : Croisée Berger Stérilisée : Oui SES ENTENTES Chiens Chats Enfants LE CARACTÈRE ET L’HISTOIRE DE BOGOTAJe suis la belle Bogota.

About Bogota

What life with Bogota looks like

Bogota is a adult dog waiting at AnimOvergne in le-quartier.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bogota, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bogota?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. AnimOvergne handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bogota on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bogota if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — AnimOvergne will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bogota already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bogota isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with AnimOvergne early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bogota and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
