BOLETA

Mixed Breed · Female

BOLETA BOLETA, born 10.01.2025, SH approximately 65 cm, weight about 20 kg, neutered, vaccinated, chipped, dewormed, further data (MMK) to follow. BOLETA was simply discarded by her hunter. Now the pretty Galga is waiting in the animal shelter for her people for life to find her. In dealing with other dogs, BOLETA is extremely uncomplicated and gets along well with all her fellow dogs. She initially approaches people somewhat skeptically, but shows her gentle side. During short walks in a low-stimulation environment, BOLETA is already a model companion and masters walks very relaxed. A home is being sought for BOLETA, where she will be warmly received and given enough time to get used to new people and situations. With a sympathetic environment, she can develop trust at her own pace and develop into a loyal companion. A dog companion would be desirable. ❤️ Contact: Andrea Heidebroek Email: andreaheidebroek-friends.org or via WhatsApp WhatsApp

BOLETA BOLETA, geboren 10. 01. 2025, SH ca. 65 cm, Gewicht etwa 20 kg, kastriert, geimpft, gechipt, entwurmt, weitere Daten (MMK) folgen.

About BOLETA

What life with BOLETA looks like

BOLETA is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein Galgo-Friends e.V. in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting BOLETA, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about BOLETA?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Galgo-Friends e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw BOLETA on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt BOLETA if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Galgo-Friends e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is BOLETA already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if BOLETA isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Galgo-Friends e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know BOLETA and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
