BONBON

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten

BONBON, (born April 3, 2026), a little male with irresistible charm! Observant and gentle, BONBON explores his surroundings with tenderness while enjoying playful moments with his siblings. Born on an abandoned and neglected plot of land, he was taken in along with his mother and siblings (BROOKLYN, BALOO, BISCUIT, BELLA) from the very first weeks of life to ensure their safety. He’s growing up peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, benefiting from a stable and reassuring environment that fosters his healthy development. Regular interactions with volunteers also contribute to his gradual socialization. We’re looking for a responsible, serious, and available family for BONBON. At his age, a kitten needs companionship, playtime, attention, and stimulation to thrive fully. Placement is subject to an adoption contract, with adoption fees covering identification, vaccination, and spaying or neutering (which will be mandatory around 6 months of age). Available for viewing in Montmorency (95) only by appointment following a phone interview and completion of a questionnaire.

About BONBON

What life with BONBON looks like

BONBON is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at SOS Cat Pattes in France.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting BONBON, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about BONBON?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SOS Cat Pattes handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw BONBON on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt BONBON if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SOS Cat Pattes will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is BONBON already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if BONBON isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SOS Cat Pattes early rather than rehoming privately; they know BONBON and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
