Boni

Female · Adult · 9 years

Boni is a very special little cat who came to us after being rescued from the streets. Despite the difficulties she has faced in her life, she never lost her determination to keep going. She's missing one paw, but that doesn't stop her from living a completely normal life: she moves around, plays and gets along perfectly well, showing every day how brave and adaptable she is. With people she doesn't know, she tends to keep her distance at first. After everything she has been through, she needs some time to feel safe and trust others. However, we are convinced that in a quiet home with patience, she won't take long to show her true character. And what defines Boni is her enormous sweetness. Whatever she lacks in paws, she makes up for it in affection and tenderness. She is a cat who deserves the opportunity to discover what it feels like to be loved and protected forever, without rushing and respecting her time. Boni is looking for a family that sees beyond her disability and discovers the wonderful companion behind it. A unique little cat, full of sensitivity and with so much love to offer anyone who decides to give her a chance.

About Boni

What life with Boni looks like

Boni is a small adult cat waiting at Arca de Noé in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Boni, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Boni?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Arca de Noé handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Boni on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Boni if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Arca de Noé will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Boni already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Boni isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Arca de Noé early rather than rehoming privately; they know Boni and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
